Live fan monitor Live
Live RPM and PWM duty for every fan Aikonic has seen running, ordered CPU cooler → GPU → case fans. A fan that idles to a stop (GPUs do this when cool) stays listed. Read-only: nothing is written to any fan.

CPU boost residency
Loads every core for ~30 seconds and reads the clock your CPU sustains under load, plus the peak it reaches. Compute-only: nothing is written.

Memory running at spec
Checks SPD/SMBIOS for XMP/EXPO applied, multi-channel interleave, and a matched kit. A register read, not a benchmark.
Running at the rated 3200 MT/s.
Dual-channel, both channels populated
Matched kit, modules are identical
Check memory
Storage SMART health
Reads each drive's own SMART / NVMe health (wear, power-on hours, reallocated sectors) and tells you whether to back up. Read-only.
980 PRO · NVMe, 4% worn · 8,412 hours · healthy
ST2000DM008 · SATA, 3 reallocated sectors, worth watching; keep backups current
Check drives
Battery health
Compares current full-charge capacity against the battery's design capacity. A desktop with no battery is reported as such, not an error.
No battery on this system: nothing to assess.

Polling rate
How often Aikonic pulls a fresh snapshot. Higher rates produce smoother graphs but use slightly more CPU and more sidecar invocations.

At 1 s, Aikonic takes about 60 readings a minute, roughly 3,600 across the one-hour live view. Cadences below 1 s are a Control feature. Your choice applies immediately and is remembered across launches.

Control · one-time purchase

History, tuning and alerts.

Control remembers 30 days. Clarity remembers the last hour. Both tiers follow the same measurement principles and the same requirements.

Features

What it adds.

  • Tuning. Every adjustment is remembered, verified against what Windows reports back, and reversible. The Tuning page opens: the Windows power mode switch, startup on and off, per-process efficiency mode, and display refresh rate, each change recorded in the Reversibility Ledger with its before and after and a working revert. Fan control follows on the same terms, when its safety conditions hold; see the roadmap.
  • History. 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day views on disk, downsampled, with a per-metric drawer. A fresh install fills from day one, and each view says how far back the record actually reaches.
  • Insights. Ranked findings with their evidence attached: “Memory has sat above 85% for most of the afternoon, and the page file grew by 1.2 GB.”
  • Event timeline & weekly digest. See what changed, when, and what co-occurred with it.
  • Alerts. Threshold-plus-duration rules with OS notifications, and a contextual action on the alert that targets the heaviest contributing process. Ending a task and changing priority are free in Clarity.
