Website Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2, 2026

The short version

These terms cover the aikonic.app website and the launch waitlist, not the Aikonic app itself. Use the site fairly, don't misuse it or our brand, and know that everything here is provided as-is. Prices and features shown are provisional until launch. The software has its own Licence Agreement, purchases are covered by the Refund Policy, and your data by the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

The Aikonic website is operated by Hancock Technologies, Switzerland ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the website and waitlist only. Three other documents govern the rest, and each takes precedence within its own scope:

If any of those conflicts with these terms on a matter it covers, that document wins.

3. Who can use the site

You may use the site if you can form a binding agreement with us and aren't barred from doing so by law. If you join the waitlist, you're confirming the email address is yours to give.

4. Using the site fairly

You're free to read, link to, and share the site. Please don't:

  • use it unlawfully or to break any regulation;
  • probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the site, or try to get around our security or rate limits;
  • submit fake, automated, or bulk waitlist entries, or someone else's email;
  • scrape our content at scale, or reuse it to train a model or build a competing service, without our permission;
  • introduce malware or try to break into any connected system or account.

5. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means we may send you one email when Aikonic launches. That's it: no newsletter, no follow-up sequence. It isn't a purchase and creates no obligation on either side. You can ask to be removed anytime; the Privacy Policy explains how your email is handled and deleted.

6. Product info and pricing

The site describes Aikonic for information only. Features, availability, timelines, and prices shown here are provisional and may change before launch; nothing on the site is a binding offer to sell. We aim for accuracy but don't guarantee the site is complete, current, or error-free.

When Control goes on sale, purchases run through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and are governed by the Licence Agreement and Refund Policy, not these terms. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout.

7. Our brand and content

The Aikonic name, logo, wordmark, screenshots, copy, and site design belong to Hancock Technologies or its licensors and are protected by IP law. You may link to the site and quote reasonable, attributed excerpts. You may not copy, adapt, reuse, or pass off our branding or design as your own without our written permission.

8. Third-party services

The site relies on a few outside services, for example Cloudflare (hosting and the Turnstile anti-abuse check) and, at purchase, Paddle. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their part of the interaction. Links to other sites are for convenience; we don't control or take responsibility for them.

9. Availability

The site is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, pause, or remove any part of it (features, content, or the waitlist) at any time and without notice. We don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

10. No warranty

The website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Put plainly: we've built the site with care, but we can't promise it's perfect or fit for any specific purpose you have in mind.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded under the law that applies to you, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. This section is about the website; liability for the software is dealt with in the Licence Agreement.

12. Privacy

The only personal data this website collects is the email you choose to give the waitlist. What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights are all in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version; if you don't agree, please stop using it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, this doesn't strip you of the mandatory consumer-law protections (or the right to sue in the courts) of the country where you live, where the law provides for that.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms: support@aikonic.app, or see the contact page for licensor details.
